Ann Cuatico apprenticed with Sandy Carmona and The Yoga Foundation of the Philippines for 8 years. She graduated from the YogaWorks 200-hr Teacher Training Program with Joan Hyman, where she assisted in 2 YWTTs. She considers herself a student of yoga not just a teacher. She is also greatly influenced by Jivamukti yoga (she has attended CETs with Sharon Gannon and David Life and is a student of Jules Febre and Cat Alip-Douglas when they're in town). She credits Rodney Yee and Oprah for encouraging her to continue on her yoga path (long story;).

teacher

Cara De Ocampo

Cara De Ocampo found herself resonating with yoga at a very tough time in her life. Stepping onto a mat brought her a sense of balance and peace that seemed to lift the world off of her shoulders. "It was what saved me", she says. It was then she realized how yoga healed her and brought about a newfound zest for life she never knew she had. From then on, she decided that sharing the gift of yoga was something she fully believed in. Following her passion, she attended teacher training under Shiva Rea in Venice Beach, CA last Oct 2009 later on continuing her training further in Manila.

teacher

Jojo Santos

Jojo began her yoga practice in 1999, starting first with ashtanga and vinyasa yoga under Sandy Carmona and Jose Antonio Arando until 2004. She continued practicing ashtanga for 2 more years with Peachie Kilayko and took special classes under Clayton Horton and Paul Dallaghan. She moved to Pulse in 2007 where she was able to deepen her practice under Ganesh Upadhyay and Joy Andres for hatha yoga; Ann Cuatico, Tesa Celdran & Sandy Carmona for power vinyasa yoga; (discovered her love for Jivamukti yoga through) Cat Alip-Douglas of Jivamukti Yoga London; and Govinda Kai & Manuel Ferreira for ashtanga. Taking her practice to a whole new level, she enrolled in and completed the YogaWorks 200-hr TT under Joan Hyman in 2010, and did experiential advanced training under Tiffany Cruikshank and Kathryn Budig.

Her practice is deeply influenced by Jivamukti as she took classes and workshops under the guidance of Cat and continued on to CET's with David Life and Sharon Gannon and workshops with Jules Febre and Anna Carbonell. To complement her hatha practice, Jojo also attended intensives under Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman and Jason Crandell. She is currently completing her 500-hr vinyasa and therapeutic yoga teacher training also under Tiffany Cruikshank.

teacher

Joy Andres

Joy Andres was clueless about yoga until she started to practice at PulseYoga in Greenhills when Pulse 1st started. That very year, she went for her teacher training at the Sivananda Ashram in India. When she arrived, she immediately taught with Pulse and to this day is one of Pulse's most beloved Hatha and Power Yoga instructors.

teacher

Joyce Tiu

Joyce Tiu walked into her first yoga class in 2004 while studying in Beijing and never went back. In 2008, she sought relief from her back pain by practicing yoga. She discovered that yoga is not just for the skinny and flexible and noticed that she was a little stronger and felt great. Wanting to learn more, she headed to India where she took the Sivananda Hatha teacher training course in 2009. After that, she also completed the YogaWorks 200-hr TT with Joan Hyman and has added to her education from Ashtanga, teachers such as Rebecca de Villa, Manuel Ferreira and Tim Miller.

She believes there is a time for everything. The painful back sparked the beginning of her yoga journey and she is still enjoying where it is taking her.

Joyce teaches Sivananda style hatha, gentle yet challenging. It is the class she first started with and is good for all levels.
